ABOUT
2020

Check out some of the exciting things we've been up to in 2020!

2020 has been all about creating awareness of the various roles we play as OTs.

Educating our communities and other health care professionals about the services we offer is important to ensure that our patients get the best possible outcomes!

World Lymphoedema Day - 6 March

This year we spent World Lymphoedema Day creating awareness about lymphoedema and the role of an OT in the treatment of it!

We were out and about spreading the word about lymphoedema at the Oncology Centre at the Netcare Clinton Hospital, as well as to various Oncologists, Radiation Oncologists and our very own teammates at Rehab First.

COVID-19

2020 has had a number of challenges, with the COVID-19 National Lockdown being one of the biggest!

Strict policies have been put into place to ensure safety for our patients and staff! Many online webinars have been completed, many bottles refilled with sanitiser, and many patients attended to safely!

We are open and seeing patients!

However please be respectful of our safety measures. Please take note of our new terms and conditions policy regarding COVID-19 safety within the practice.

I Love Boobies Virtual Event
10 October

October is breast cancer awareness month, and so we decided to gather a group of amazing people to participate in the I Love Boobies virtual 5km event.

We sponsored shirts for all of our runners/walkers/crawlers, and organised everyone a pair of "I Love Boobies" socks! All proceeds and donations were given to the I Love Boobies organisation to assist in educating and performing clinical screenings for South African women who have limited funds and access to medical facilities.

We had tons of fun, and raised over R8000 for this amazing cause!
